The Racial Justice Training Program (RJTP) is a cohort-based racial and social justice education program geared towards all academic advisors regardless of race, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or other protected characteristic.
Participants further develop their awareness, knowledge, and skills needed to better serve students who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), thus also enhancing support for students from other historically minoritized groups.
Members of the U of M community have been trained on how to facilitate the program and are our primary facilitators for RJTP cohorts.
